hello,
when can we have the drivers for 3DSMAX 2011 ?

Dear dom,

Starting with 3DS Max 2011, their developers have incorporated use of our devices directly within their application, so there is no longer any need for an external plug-in.

Any idea how to enable it? I have 3dsMax 2011 trial and SpaceNavigator plugged in (with latest drivers) and it doesn't work :/

AutoCad 2011 is natively supported not 3DSmax
The addin is still being worked on by the programmers.
You say your using a trial version does it allow Addins?
If not the device wont get recognized.
Thats the bad part of trial programs they usually dont give full functionality.

If they do allow addins then check here:
The 3Dconnexion panel is accessible from the utilities tab (hammer icon). Click on 3DxStudio to access the plug-in options: Control Panel & Button Mapping Editor.

sorry for the confusion. Yes, Fred is right. The native support in the application is limited to AutoCAD 2011 - not 3dsmax 2011. As 3dsmax is not yet officially released (as far as I know) we do not yet have the plugin for this version. I assume we have to prepare a plugin for 3dsmax 2011. Please be patient for a while; we hope to have the appropriate plugin soon.

The 3DS Max 2011 is official released 06.apr. for subscription users (download)
So I hope the plugin can soon be ready.... waiting waiting
