Hello!
I use a SpaceExplorer USB on RedHatEL 4 und would like to change the behavior of the cap to zoom in and out like discribed here:
viewtopic.php?t=9
Unfortunatly I can't figure out a way to do that in the Linux-Driver 3DxWare 1.4.0
Is ist possible to change this behavior in ~/.3dxcfg ?
Greetings,
Michael
Can I change the way I move the cap to zoom in and out?

Hi Michael,
in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel you have to open the tab "Sensitivity and Filters". At the bottom you find a checkbox "Reverse Y and Z Translations". Please give it a try if this is the setting you would like to have.

Follow up question related to this.
How do I start the control panel gui to make the same change (functionality of the cap)?
I am not good at Linux, unfortunately, and this is a work asset anyway. I had to have someone from IT install the driver (I don't have root access), but I don't see where I can launch the control panel.
Everything else with the driver works fine. I am using it in ABAQUS CAE software, and my model responds properly to the space pilot inputs, just the cap orientation is wrong.
I have a Space Pilot SP1 USB
I am running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Thanks for any help.
Jay.
