I was thinking if I found I used it enough I would upgrade to a newer model, but given the excuses given, I have changed my mind. I have studied programing and there is no reason that it shouldn't work, except for the fact that 3D connexion doesn't want it to work (given the workaround works). It has actually damaged my registry therefore I cannot even get it to work on my old software now.
If anyone has the required files can you email them to me? If that doesn't work I may have to write my own software for it. If 3D Connexion wants to make money off new models, I'm sure someone could make money off fixing old models so they work.
