Old Space Pilot and Inventor/AutoCAD

Post by Mal Smith »

I've acquired an old Space Pilot (2007), which I and trying to use with Inventor and AutoCAD, latest versions. I've installed the 64_v10-4-10 driver, which was the driver suggested by the 3Dconnecxion site for this device. The navigation works OK, as do the Esc, Shift, Ctrl and Alt buttons, and the Panel button. But none of the other customisable buttons work. Is there anything I can do with this old device to get the buttons working?

Buy new model like the SpaceMouse series.
Inventor and AutoCAD costs thousands of dollars to subscribe every year, so I think you or your employer can afford to invest on the new 3Dconnexion hardware, which is in the range of a few hundreds..
