Ver. 10.8.3 cannot be installed

When I start and run the installer, it stops halfway through.

OS Sonoma 14.2.1

Why does a lot of things go wrong with mac?
It won't even run applications 90% of the time...

I feel bad for not submitting a bug for this when I had to Force Quit / Eject the last public release beta running on macOS 13.6.2

The installer hangs on "Installing plug in scripts... should take about a minute"

At this point, I'm giving up on the Mac driver (same as 3DC), and just waiting for my Finalmouse XL to ship.

I would like to ask you if you were using newest 3Dconnexion driver for mac version 10.8.3?
Also did you have already 10.8.2 installed before on your machine and your tried overinstall it to 10.8.3 ?

has already install 10.8.2, and update to 10.8.3. The installer hangs on "Installing plug in scripts... should take about a minute".

unisntal 10.8.2, but still can't install 10.8.3

I also cannot install 10.8.3. After password is requested twice, installation hangs at 50% during "Running package scripts". It's been "about a minute" for 50 minutes and still does not finish. Please advise!

I have the same problem as NFTM.
I work on: Macbook pro Intel i9 and macOS:Sonoma 14.2.1
I try to update the drive ver.1.8.3 on 1.8.2.but the process never ending.

Any hints to workaround this problem?

I'm having the same problem. It gets about halfway, to a point called "Running package scripts" and stalls. I left it over the weekend and it just sat there.

Just want to say that 10.8.3 upgrade worked for me on M1
without any issues.

But I think I upgraded the driver quite late,
AFTER the latest Sonoma 14.3 (23D56) upgrade.

Same problem here, I bought the space mouse 1,5 month ago and trouble since. Sometimes it did work but now installing the latest software is impossible.
I need the space mouse for work but i spend hours trying to fix.

The problem is known at 3dconnexion and i hope a solution will be found quick.
