Help wanted: Updating 3DxWare on Sonoma, device is not found

After a little head scratching, I was able to update to 3DxWare 10.8.2 on Sonoma 14.2.1.

The 3Dconnection home apps run as do the demos, etc, but my SpaceNavigator is not detected.

I know it's connected and functioning because touching it causes the cursor to move, scroll etc.

None of the 3DxWare software or 3rd party software can use it.

Tried rebooting to no avail.

Any suggestions on how to get it to be detected?
