Navlib, button assignments and Mac

Post by pelle »

Hi,

Recently got our application up and running using Navlib on Windows. :) Now trying to do the same on macOs.

Motion works, but I'm having problems with button assignment. For example, with SpaceMouse Compact, I would like to assign "View Top" to either the left or right button. When I go into the 3Dconnection Settings, I cannot find this option. I do find the option "Fit" under "Application Command" (see attached image), but this option does not "stick", and there are no other options in the drop-down menu.

I suspect some issue with setup/initialization. (In the 3Dconnexion settings I had to manually register the Capture executable; the profile hint we set in code before enabling does not seem to be used. I suspect we need to provide some application-specific information and have seen XML configuration files mentioned in a few places, but no info about the format etc.)

Any hints on where to look/what to do?

Sonoma 14.1,1, 3DxWare_SDK_v4-0-3_r19962, 3Dconnexion Home 1.2.412.

Cheers,
Pelle
