3DxWare
Hi,
I bought a space mouse and wanted to install the appropriate software. Unfortunately that doesn't work. I have Windows 11 pro running as a virtual machine on a Mac m2. When I want to install the program, halfway through I get the error message "This product is only supported on Microsoft Windows 10 Version 2004 (20H1) or newer." Does anyone have an idea what I can do there?

Re: 3DxWare
Windows OS in virtual machine on ARM64 M2 CPU based Mac? That's too complex for the 3Dconnexion driver to handle.
Re: 3DxWare
The graphics acceleration doesn't matter at first or Solidworks runs quite well. I would like to install the driver somehow.
Re: 3DxWare
SOLIDWORKS licence and subscription service fees are costly, I would not recommend you to install SOLIDWORKS in a virtual machine, it will reduce the the return of investment.
Re: 3DxWare
Same thing with me, I just want to instal drivers already have solidworks

Running Windows OS in a virtual machine on an ARM64 M2 CPU-based Mac proves too intricate for the 3Dconnexion driver to manage.
Re: 3DxWare
Hi! I'm having the exact same error on windows 11 under a M3 (ARM chip), it runs pefectly on MacOs but I'm not able to install it under windows.
Are you planing to get support for this configuration?

Oh, don't do this, use a genuine x86 CPU, e.g. AMD Ryzen 7950X or Intel Xeon w7-2495x.

Re: 3DxWare
Came here to post the temporary fix should anyone need it...
Visit the 3dConnexion driver archives and get the 10.6.4 driver for the Spacemouse. I had to remove the existing drivers first. The 10.6.4 is from back in 2019, but it works. SolidWorks have now acknowledged the problem and told me a fix was in the works.
