C4d 2024 - Not working.

So C4D 2024 was just release installed and the space mouse is not working at all. No little blue icon ( very annoying by the way - gets in the way! )

Plug in appears to be pre installed in the same app/plugin folder as 2023 in the app folders - not the preferences.

Any ideas?

Same problem here. I tried uninstalling the driver and then installing it again, but it didn't work

Dear 3DConnexion.
We all know that Maxon seems to bring out a new version every seven minutes, and it must be mind-numbing to have to rewrite the driver each time. And then there's Apple Silicon and new OS's. But we out here often HAVE to upgrade in order to get the fixes to other issues that have been crippling us (that have nothing to do with 3D Connexion).
All we'd like is some kind of open, realistic expectation as to when you think a universal, or at least M1/M2 C4D 2024 driver might be ready.

I installed 2024. Uninstalled your entire software, restarted. Downloaded the latest installer. Ran it. Fixed the system setting block. Restarted.
Everything works (Viewer, puzzle etc) except in C4D. The app is in the default location. Is there a workaround for manual install of a file or something, or is it really a case of you having to write a new version?

Just let us know.

The predictably vague response from tech support was.

"We are working on the implementation of new plug-in for Cinema 4D 2024. We suppose that will be available with the next version of our driver. I will let you new when it will be released. For now we suggest to using previos version of Cinema"

Despite the new c4d having no changes to its extensions / plugin / scripting. They managed to not account for the next C4D version and I can only presume the file locations are hard coded.

I am sure they coudl account for Maxon's Ongoing file structure given it's ben the same for about 15 years... apart from the confusing change from r25>s26>2023

Many plugins I had working fine in C4D 2023 do not work in C4D 2024. Maxon changed their API again and lots of plugins need to be reworked.

This is simply not true. There have been major changes to the Cinema 4D C++ API with the new faster performance of Cinema. So much so that several other plugins have had delayed releases for the new 2024 version.

It's not only on the Mac. On Windows systems I also have the same problem and I didn't get a helpfull respond too. Only wait for the next driver. How long I have to wait - 2 weeks, 2 years?
