The twist axis doesn't work in Netfabb (2021 and 2022) - I'm using spacepilot pro wireless on 10.8.4 - same issue on 10.7.4
Twist does a left-right roll instead of twisting, left-right roll works normally as do all the other axes. Very frustrating ....
Is this a netfabb issue or a 3dconnextion issue?

correction: left-right roll axis not working at all - it does nothing, while twist is doing left-right roll.

Netfabb issue.
There's a setting that's either been added or had it's default value changed called "Default Orbit Type" - that is defaulted to "constrained orbit", in order to use the twist axis on your 3DConnexion device that setting needs to be changed to "Free Orbit".
wow - why on earth would they do that?!? I honestly can't remember the last time a deliberate feature caused me so much aggravation
