I have seen several posts around that ask about disabling roll in Houdini, so that it works like the 'Lock Horizon' feature in the Maya. Without this it's impossible to make the two applications behaved the same, making it nearly impossible to learn to use the spacemouse for VFX artists that use both applications regularly.
Does anyone know of anyway to lock the roll/keep the horizon level in Houdini even if its hacky?
This is all Houdini have to say about the spacemouse:

Re: SideFX Houdini
Hi flapcats,
This is not a feature within the 3Dconnexion driver and it something that needs to be done within the application.
Will try to install the software and see if i can find a solution for you.

Hi Abdul,
Thank you for testing this out, where did you get up to with it?
Do you see how the roll accumulates over time?
