I'm glad that worked for you.
It's a problem with the old Input Manager's default assignments.
Things are a little better with the New Input System. The 3D mouse still doesn't work correctly out of the box, but at least it isn't assigned by default!!
OTOH, Unity users, stay tuned for the next 3DxWare release announcement...

I reproduced this error in an empty project. Enter SpaceNavigator. create a new scene. Create canvas and add Scroll View by right clicking on canvas. Everything is solved slope ball
