Help With Older SpacePilot

Post by kullboys12 »

Hello everyone
For calibrate where is the calibrate button? I open up the 3Dconnexion home and there is no config. icon. There is a settings icon but it does not have the calib. button. Currently I have drifting issues. Older SpacePilot running on Windows 7 Pro, using Solidworks 2017 SP 5.0 with NVIDIA Quadro FX 580. Thought I would try calib. first. If I need to reinstall the driver for this device, how would I remove the old driver?

Thanks

Hi kullboys12,

if your device is drifting you can easily calibrate it by right-clicking to the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray and the selecting “Calibrate”. You will be asked “not to touch the cap while LEDs are blinking”. Confirm and wait until the process is finished (just a few seconds). Another window will inform you that the calibration is finished.

To uninstall the driver go to Apps and features and select the entry for 3DxWare and click "Uninstall".
