Space Navigator and Second Life

Before I loaded Window 7, full version, I had no trouble using my Space Navigator on Second Life. Ever since, I find I cannot 'edit' beyond a certain distance, whereas before, I could edit anytime anywhere.

Can anyone help?

Dear Zinnia,

I don't believe Second Life makes use of our drivers. You may want to check with your Second Life support about this.

In general, for Windows 7, we have a new release version of 3DxSoftware, 3.8.1. For most operating system upgrades to Windows 7, downloading this driver to your desktop from the Driver Download Page under the Support Menu would be appropriate. But I don't know that this would apply to Second Life as they do not make use of these drivers and plug-ins.

What release version are you currently using? (3Dconnexion Control Panel, Help, About)

Have downloaded update, but it has made no difference. Still have a limited edit distance.

Second Life doesnt use our driver in their application.
They have incorporated support directly into the program.
Contact Second life and let them know the issue you have with the current version and Win 7.
