PID number

We have 300+ SpacePilots attached to workstations running Windows XP Pro x64.

We have been asked to supply the serial numbers of these devices for a new asset database.

Does anyone know if the serial number can be pulled from the O/S or do we have to manually go to each device and read the label on the back?

Hi unix.support,

the serial number is not stored in the device. Sorry. There is no other possibility to get the serial number than to read it from the label at the back.
