AutoCad 2008 freezing
Last week this problem started happening on and off. Now, it happens EVERY time: When I load an AutoCAD file up and then hit the 3D Motion button on the AutoCAD screen and then try to move around with the Spaceball, the whole session freezes and will not respond. I have to shut ACAD down every time. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Troubleshooting AutoCAD 2008
Dear andyliberti,
Can you give us a bit more information to work with?
What release version do you find listed in About under the Help Menu in the 3Dconnexion Control Panel?
Exactly which of our devices are you using?
What operating system do you have?
What computer do you have?
When you started having this problem, what else might have occured at the same time, new upgrades, new drivers, new devices, new security software, new security settings, new hardware?
Have you recalibrated recently?
Have you tried reseating your device? tried different ports? Are you plugging directly into your computer?
Sincerely,
Bryan
