Although the drivers install correctly, and the device can be used, the 3DxWare Control Panel does not start on Vista 64.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi Toby,
The 3DxWare Control Panel should work fine on Vista64.
Which 3D mouse and driver version do you have installed?
Please correct/update the following:
A) The blue light turns on after booting up
B) The Cube 3D demo works
C) If you click on "Start->Programs->3Dconnexion->3Dconnexion 3DxWare->Show 3DxWare Control Panel" nothing happens
D) If you double click the 3DxWare icon on the taskbar - nothing happens
E) If you right-click the 3Dx icon on the taskbar - nothing happens
F) Same situation if you try steps A-E after reboot
Can you open the 3DxWare Control Panel by right-click-> Run as.. -> Administrator?
