SolidWorks 2008 - 2D - SpaceNavigator annoying function

Post by cplmac »

In SolidWorks 2008, 2D Space: If I select a view (by left clicking mouse in the region of the view), and then attempt to zoom in/out or pan up/down/left/right, the movements of the spaceNavigator change the position of the view I'd selected, instead of my perspective of the view. (i.e. I want to leave the view in position, unless I select/hold my mouse button and then move)

Even if I "lock position" of the view: it's impossible to change the view position with the mouse, but the spaceNavigator still moves it.

This is so annoying and is killing my productivity. Please help! :?: [/b]

Hi cplmac,

Disable "Move on Select" for Drawing Views.

Check the help file for your "3Dcontrol" add-in (3Dcontrol toolbar, "question mark" icon, "3Dcontrol Properties" section).
