uncommanded rapid zooming and rotation
I have been having problems with the mouse suddenly causing my 3D model to rapidly spin or zoom out. This can occur after I have been moving the mouse, or when I haven't been touching the mouse - I assume vibrations in my desk are setting it off. Sometimes the motion or zooming can be stopped by slightly moving the mouse in the opposite direction, but not always. I use the space mouse with ANSYS Workbench 16.1 and Inventor 2014.

Hello mvogl -
Re-centering your device is done with the “Calibrate” function in the System Tray options.
Locate the 3Dconnexion icon in the System Tray. Right-click and choose “Calibrate"
A window will ask you to not touch the cap while LEDs are blinking. Click OK then after a few seconds a window will inform you that calibration is finished.
Calibration returns the cap center to 0,0 so it corrects kind of the onscreen movement that happens when the cap is off-center.
