Driver Will Not Install

Post by pwgilbert »

I just downloaded the most recent driver for my Space Navigator because mine is not working (MAC OS 10.4.7). I am unable to install it because I get the following error:

Couldn't open "Install 3Dconnexion software.mpkg". Downloaded it twice.

Please try installing using an Administrator account. Let us know if that helps.

Nope

The only account I have on my MAC is an administrator account, so no, that did not help. Thanks for your reply.

Okay, I uninstalled my old driver then attempted to install the new driver again...and it worked beautifully, as does the Navigator with CS3. Don't you just love a happy ending? Now when does the Traveller come out for the MAC?

Dear pwgilbert,

I believe you should be able to use your SpaceTravelor on your MacIntosh as well as your SpaceNavigator. You would only be restricted to using only 2 buttons.

Sincerely,
Bryan
