3DSMAX panning issue and fit issue.

Post by macspeedee »

Using Spacepilot pro with 3dsmax 2016 on windows 10 with the latest driver 10.6.7.3198 and Core 17.6.7.17382

When in front, top left right or back view and I pan the scene jumps all over the place. It is fine in perspective view and orthographic but not the others. It is very annoying.

Also the fit button in these views also doesn't work it zooms right out and the scene is barely visible.

I had to install windows 10 because when I tried to roll back the previous driver to fix the same issue your software would not uninstall so now I am wary about rolling back to a working driver. Is there a fix for these issues?

Hi macspeedee,

would it be possible to create a video of the issue you encounter? That would be easier then for us to understand and reproduce.

Thanks,

Thanks for getting back to me. I have resolved the issue by upgrading finally to max 2021. I assume a combination of new drivers with an old Spacepilot pro on an old version of max was causing issues. Upgrading to max 2021 has fixed the problem for me.
