SME/Driver 10.6.0
OK, so now I can set the SME buttons and save the configs... great. But one annoying thing is...
If I setup the buttons as desired (and at the moment were talking only buttons 1-6) in MAX2014, they work fine. But when I open MAX2020, the buttons are setup properly and work fine except button 3 has the wrong label and wrong function (even a different function than the label).
If I change button 3 to the proper function and save the config in MAX2020, it works fine in MAX2020 but when I start MAX2014, button 3 is wrong there.
(NOTE: This problem also exhibited itself in the SpacePilot when changing between MAX versions so it's been around awhile).
Any way to rectify this?
Thanks!

Re: 3dsMax Button Config Between Versions
There's some algorithm change between 3ds MAX v2014 and v2020 due to the development codebase iterations.
Re: 3dsMax Button Config Between Versions
Wait for the new version driver.

Hi Mike,
I'd like to see your saved Max cfg files (%appdata%/...3DxWare/Cfg). Can you PM them to me? (dropbox or such).
Thanks.

Re: 3dsMax Button Config Between Versions
Hi Mike,
It appears that our default cfg file is somewhat version-specific.
Apparently Autodesk reused the same command between the two versions. In effect, renamed it.
We will investigate further looking for more inconsistencies.
At least the icon and text updates to show the usage in the particular version you are running.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
