SpaceMouse Bug on Boot

Post by mvasilakis »

I have 2 SpaceMouse Wireless mice on two different spec'd iMacs and have the same problem on boot across both. SPW is connected via USB on both. The SMW is not recognized as a SpaceMouse on boot. Only when I unplug and replug the USB is it recognized. Prior to that it works only as a pointing device for the system (akin to a regular mouse).

iMacs are different models, both 24GB RAM, both 10.14.3 (Though one was 10.12 prior to this week and was exhibiting the same behavior.)

I'm reporting the bug since months, and Mojave is out since September '18.
Do you (3Dconnexion) understand that we now have to unplug and plug again the receiver at least EVERYDAY, if not more?

Can you please really speed up on this bug fix?
