Hi both,

this is an issue that sometime can happen and has been seen on Mojave only so far. We are tracking this issue with our internal bug number MAC-81. I will post here once we have news on this.

Thank you for your patience.

Can we expect a driver update before the end of the year?

(I have to confess that it's a little bit annoying that it's taking so long supporting Mojave)

We are working on a new driver release for macOS. But we need to do out in-depth testing as usual before we release it. So - no. No release before the end of this year. Sorry.

Sorry for bothering, but we use 3D connexion tools daily, and it's definitely boring having to fight with this bugs.
Any update about the update? Any timeframe?

After I installed the new driver 10.6.0 on my computer, she always crash when I restart it. I have to format and recover my iMac (take 6-8 hours).
I haw done that 8 times.

Hello maggi_magnum,

I recommend that you contact our Technical Support Team. The colleagues can do the necessary troubleshooting and escalate your ticket in case they do not have a solution.

Do you have experience with a previous version of our driver? Just out of curiosity - to see if this is a new issue with this specific version.

Which version of macOS do you have installed?

Have you ckecke if you can collect a crash report from your system? That might be helpful to determine the culprit.

Hi,

This bug happens with both 2 Macs I have: one is a 2018 MacBook Pro, with USB C so yes, I use an USB adapter, the other is a 2013 MacBook Pro, with no adapter. Both Macs run the lastest macOS Mojave release.

Hei.
It was working fine for I upgrade to Mojave. I have version 10.14.2 of macOS.
I notes that there is a new driver realest 10. jan 2019.
Shall I install that driver?

I am having the same issue with a new space mouse and a new iMac Pro 10 core. Both were purchased In December 2018. I have had several tech support calls with 3Dconnection and also Apple Tech support. Both have had me try all the standard Diagnostic Tests. The only way to get the iMac Pro to recognize the 3D space mouse after restart is to pull the wireless receiver and reinsert it. Then it works fine until the next shutdown / restart. I have even tried a new 3Dconnection wireless receiver. Last night the level 2 apple tech support person told me it's a driver issue after having me create a new user and other tests. I am now running the latest Mac OS 10.14.3 and 3DxWare 10.6.1 and 3DMacCore 1.1.0 and the problem still exists. When will this driver issue be resolved?
