Are you working on Drivers for Mojave?

Post by ideamaxima »

Hey 3Dconnection I would like to know if you are working on Drivers for Mojave.

We've been waiting two months for drivers but nothing has been published yet.
Drivers who are published today on your site are the same as old ones.

With your mouse, I have to work. I spent a lot of money to buy this space mouse and now I find myself with a worthless, expensive toy on my desk.

...and please, you don't post the link to your FAQ because I'm not a fool.

On your website you must to write that your products doesn't work under Mojave and I believe people, BEFORE buy, have a right to know that your device doesn't work with the last Os of Apple.

Why haven't you released the driver for Mojave yet?
Is this a marketing problem? You're just not capable?

I might advise you to hire a freelancer on Freelancer.com or on Upwork.com to build the drivers.

So, seriously, are you working on the drivers for Mojave? Should I sell your mouse?

Hello ideamaxima,

the driver for Mojave was released on 31. Oct. The version is 3DxWareMac 10.6.0. Do you have this one?

In case you still have problems after following the instructions in FAQ #1141 please contact our Technical Support Team for further troubleshooting.

I would say the latest driver works reasonably well with Mojave.
OK, meanwhile I already had problems with black Display for Enterprise again
too after reboots or waking from sleep.
But most of the time - it is ok.

(BTW, I see my Enterprise screen black on a Windows machine too ....)

But what I notice since Mojave are general USB Problems.
It often happens after awakening or reboot that no USB input device at all
is working for about a 1 minute until a timeout.
I think the likelihood for this to happen is bigger with more USB devices
attached. Like I also use a Wacom Cintiq + sometimes loading iPhone and iPad.

Can you post a video with your configuration and your setting and let me see the mouse works?

Well, the settings only contain App specific button assignments and such.

I think important is only that your 3DConnexion USB or Wireless Device
is recognized from macOS at all and even more,
to follow the instructions FAQ of the Driver Installation Process,
which Uta posted above.
And to check twice if 3D Driver and Menu are really inserted and configured in
Mojave's Settings more stringent Firewall and Privacy Settings.
