Hello,
sorry, if that question got asked several times already.
I have a SpacePilot (not pro) and i am looking for the right driver.
I work with a Windows 10 (64 bit) PC.
I already looked at https://www.3dconnexion.de/service/legacy-driver.html , but i can't find a driver which supports both: SpacePilot and Windows 10 (64bit). If i download the latest driver (10.5.3) i can't press any buttons or move my cursor with the SpacePilot. I also get following message, if i open 3dconnexion tool: 'no application selected'.
Thanks for you help.
Best wishes,
Alex

Re: Finding the right driver for my SpacePilot
Dear LexlRexl,
I am sorry you are disappointed with the driver availability for your SpacePilot. I would like to clarify that the SpacePilot was discontinued in March 2010 and software support was maintained for three years until March 31st 2013.
After this date, we did not take any steps to stop SpacePilot working, but it is not tested with newer drivers. This means we do not list these drivers when you search for SpacePilot on the driver download page. However, if you download our latest 3DxSoftware driver (3.18.0) from our legacy driver download site (http://www.3dconnexion.com/service/legacy-driver.html) by searching for another product (I suggest SpaceMouse Pro or SpacePilot Pro), there is a chance it will work fine with your SpacePilot and application name. Please be aware that because SpacePilot is not tested with this driver we will not be able to offer further technical support (but we hope that is not necessary).

Re: Finding the right driver for my SpacePilot
hi LexlRexl
I have similar controller and OS and use 3DxWare64_v10-4-10_r2558 which works well (with some issues relating to plugging/unplugging mid session). The software shows the correct controller but also states it is not supported. Had no problems in normal use and keys and LCD work as intended.
Just make sure you have uninstalled all/any previous 3dWare software before install the new driver.
Drivers are at-
https://www.3dconnexion.co.uk/service/a ... ivers.html
Select SpacePilot Pro - NOT the non pro that we both have, and
Windows 10 64Bit
and then 3DxWare64 v10.4.10 - although others may work but a later version so broke it for me that to get the driver working I reinstalled (refresh) Windows and then only installed v10.4.10.

Re: Finding the right driver for my SpacePilot
Just to add - read on another thread on this forum that the last version that works with the base SpacePilot model is 3DxWare64 v10.4.10 .
Later versions have had the SpacePilot configurations removed and at least, up to now (Apr 2018), will not work.

Re: Finding the right driver for my SpacePilot
I just registered to say thanks, because after several attempts with other (legacy) drivers, this driver suggestion did the trick indeed. So: THANK YOU!nicksoph wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 4:38 pm hi LexlRexl

FYI, I couldn't find this particular legacy driver on the 3Dconnection site (maybe because it redirected me from the .co.uk domain towards the .eu portal...), but I googled another location: https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.ph ... _langue=en (hope this is legit). Happy days!
