Spacemouse Pro - Here we go again.....

Post by zazz »

My Spacemouse Pro is almost useless within Solidworks and have therefor been laying in desk drawer. In hope to get it to work better, I updated from V10-1-4_r1818 to 3DxWare64_v10-2-8_r2007 today, in some last hope to get it more precis when manipulating within Solidworks. As it is now, It works PERFECT in the included trainer, but not as near as well in Solidworks.. I WANT THAT CONTROL IN SOLIDWORKS as well.... but NO...

The upgrade seemed to work well but after that I got an error about some 3Dxserver that couldn't start. I ignore it and for the first time it seemed to work fine with Solidworks... For 30 min... Then it stopped working. It did not work with Chrome either. The trainer worked well though. Uninstalled 3Dware, restarted the computer and then installed it again. But now i got some error 1714 (See attached pic) telling me that some old Solidwork files were locked... Deleted all folders and files that i could find, tried again, but same problem occurred every time. Started to delete the 3dconnexion keys in the register, but the keys were locked and could not be deleted

What to do?????

How could this 3DxWare mess up my computer so badly. Have spent 9-10 hours to clean all up, but still can't install neither the new or old 3DxWare.

What is it, and how to get rid of the blocking features? Solidworks seemed to work well with the new 3DxWare, at least for half an hour.

Opening a few other program (programs that were earlier configured to worked with the Spacemouse pro) results in Spamsemouse error, see below. It seams that 3DxWare has left some register keys/files/other, things that I now have to be clean up manually.

Please let med know where to look and what to change/delete
