I received word that 3dConnexion is re-writing the licensing to be less restrictive.

But, blender development with libusb is proceeding more quickly and is likely to be the implementation of choice. I don't have detailed information about libusb for windows. It exists, but seems to require compiling with Borland C++ only (the free version?).

RBC9 worked as advertised, but the view controls inside blender don't include pan in x, y, and z, and the x, y pan is screen relative, not scene. That, and mapping to keystrokes allows only one axis delta at a time.

Update: libusb-win32 makefile references gcc, bcc, and msvc. Seems the Borland C++ reference is out of date.

Hello 3DConnexion Team!

It seems that you are actually working with the Blender Foundation to develop support for your devices, including SpaceNavigator. A development branch of Blender has been created to aid development.
How many time to release official drivers with Blender support?

Thanks,

MaxG
