SpaceNav and Sketchup 2105?

Post by cgarch »

Tried copying the 3Dconnexion plugins for SKP 2014 to the plugins folder for SKP 2015 and so far, have not had any luck. Suggestions?

Same here. Using Mac OS X 10.10 and Sketchup Pro 15.0.9349 with SpaceExplorer USB and 3DsWare 10.2.0. It still works with Skethup 2014.

Ditto! Would be nice if the setup could be a little more intuitive.

A release date or temporary fix would be a little more helpful rather than an arbitrary comment regarding the future. >obvious<

Hi all,

we are in the testing phase of the next release. As I cannot predict how the testing will be I cannot make any statement about a release date. We plan to provide the new plugin "soon".

all the people in the forum asking for the new driver are for sure , like me, professionals users, that make their work with sketchup and 3d navigator, so i really hope that your "soon" respect our professional work.

3Dconnexion keeps saying soon, but with no real date. Is soon 5 days, 10 days, 30 days? You should be happy that we like your product and now that we are accustomed to using it. We need to be able to use it with Sketchup 2015. Really guys, you should have planned on this sooner when you knew the there would be a major update to this software. Please give us a more definitive answer on the timeframe.

HI 3dconnexion team,

Since you are clearly still working on the Skp 2015 software update, I ask that you also insure that it be compatible with OSX 10.10 Yosemite. I am currently caught in a bind where I can't update my primary work machine to OSX 10.10 because only skp'15 works on OSX 10.10 (skp'14 does NOT work). But... your software only works on skp'14, which means that ***needed updates to the entire Mac OS are forced to be put on hold for any user who uses your product*** in their daily work. So please make sure the new release also covers OSX 10.10, otherwise it will be a total waste. I'm sure many others are in the same situation... Thanks
