SpacePilotpro LCD

How difficult is it to write custom messages and status to the SpacePilotPro LCD? This will be in conjunction with an embedded control system.

Hi Oppie,

There's specific SDK to handle the SpacePilot Pro display. Install the most recent version of the software for your 3D mouse (download it from here) and then check the documentation of the LCDSDK. The SDK package can normally be found in C:\Program Files\Logitech\GamePanel Software\LCD Manager\SDK

Thank you ngomez.
Good starting place. Before we dig deeper, can this run on a non-microsoft platform? We are doing an implementation with a 32 bit Microchip processor. We already support the SpaceMouse Pro and SpaceNavigator on this platform.

We only distribute an LCDSDK for Windows. Can you get in touch with our API support folks (go the SDK page here to find the service's contact details)? 3Dconnexion may be able to provide further assistance but we would need to review the your project in a more formal way.

Did anybody from 3DConnexion try to contact me yet? No rush, just wanted to confirm that the spam filter didn't eat it...
Thank you.
