Having an automatic configuration for part/assembly/drawing is great, but the package isn't complete without a separate configuration for sketching. I know I can setup a secondary configuration with all my sketch commands, but it's not as convenient as having the 3Dx software sense when I've entered a sketch and automatically transition to the proper config. Not to mention whenever I make a change I would have to update 3 different sketch configs (one for each file type) to keep them synced.
When will 3Dx add support for a sketch configuration? It's already been a very integral part of SolidWorks for many releases. SW knows when you're in sketch mode and changes the available buttons/commands accordingly. Why can't my SpacePilot do this?
