SpacePilot Zoom in Solidworks

Post by CntrySngr72 »

Okay, so up until SW2009 and the latest 3Dx drivers (3.6.11) I have been able to set my zoom to pulling up and down on the puck on my space pilot. For some reason in 2009 its not recognizing that at all...I can ONLY zoom by pushing forward and pulling back. This is really frustrating me because in AutoCAD I can set it the way I want and it works.

Anyone know of a way to change the direction for zooming in SolidWorks?

With SW open
Click Start
Programs
3DConnexion
3DConnexion 3dxware
Show 3DXware control panel
Make sure the dropdown panel says Solidworks your name or whatever you saved your config file
Switch the zoom direction under device configuration.
Push ok
Now try zooming.
