3dxpiemenus Uhandled Exception

Post by JimB »

Hi all,
I have a SpaceNavigator and after installing the drivers (3DxWare64_v10-2-0_r1865)
I have "3dxpiemenus Uhandled Exception" window pop up filling my desktop so much
that I can't screen grab all of it, It appears every time I start my computer I am hoping
that some one can suggest a solution.

Hello JimB,

there might be a configuration that got corrupted. Try removing the existing configurations as described here.

The link takes you to the following info. I don't see how that actually helps resolve the issue. Can you provide more info? I am having the 3dxpeimenus unhandled exception issue now in 2023.

Looks like a permissions issue. Stop the 3DxWare driver and try to delete the following log file:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\nolan\AppData\Local\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxPieMenus.log[/url]

I went and took that file and moved it to my desktop in case I want to put it back.

Rebooted and the error message doesn't pop up anymore.

I don't know what that file is for. Is it ok to delete it?

The "3DxPieMenus.log" is only used for logging. It is safe to discard it.
