High Latency and Consuming

Post by Seik »

Hello ,

my SpaceMouse (Enterprise) still having some problems , specifically with Cinema4D.

1. All drivers and softwares are updated to the last available
2. Hardware doesn't have usb , power or lag problems.
2. After a few rotations or zoom on a scene not particularly heavy (CPU at 30-40% and GPU at 10-20%) it's stop to work or it's laggy and very slow ...

It's seems that something interfere with memory or viewports ... do you have some suggestions?

Best Regards

Just un update...it's occour with SpaceNavigator too...so it's a general driver performance. Check these videos with/without Spacemouse or a classic mouse...

SpaceMouse or SpaceNavigator

Using a classic mouse

Hi Seik

Thanks for you insights.
we are looking at it.

Also wanted to ask about your video "with". I see that every your movment the CoR (center of rotatiion point) is changing a position a bit.
Are you making a smooth cap movement without any breaks?

Do you connect you spacemouse directly to PC or through some hub?

Just a note:

1. 3Dx Drivers Navigation Mode is set as Object Mode but the problem persists in every setting.
2. Cinema 4D has his Navigation Mode panel but SpaceMouse follows only his Navigation Mode sets on 3dx drivers and ignore Cinema4D nav-mode.

So ... in my videos I've tried a smooth movements but it's very laggy and intermittent ... and I confirm that the CoR change everytime.

However, this would limit a whole object rather than a specific field. It is conceivable for data to be restricted by usertype permissions; however, this would restrict the entire object. I can see that the center of rotation (CoR) is shifting somewhat with each movement that you make toward the center of rotation.

To address performance issues with your SpaceMouse Enterprise in Cinema4D:

Check system resources and ensure they're sufficient.
Update graphics drivers and SpaceMouse firmware.
Adjust SpaceMouse and Cinema4D settings for optimization.
Close unnecessary background processes.
Test with different scenes to isolate the issue.
Contact support if problems persist.

Hello...all checks was done.
SpaceMouse is significantly slower compared to the viewport classic pan/zoom/rotate command.
Probably it need to update something internally as previously said.
I'm waiting a new drivers update and I will update soon this post.
Best Regards
