Why won't my new CadMouse Pro not work on a Mac?

Post by DrDan »

Brand new, spent 1 hour now trying to make it click.
Frustrating.
Sending it back and returning to my MX Master 2S

If I wanted to mess with DRIVERS all day, I would have bought a Dell.

My guess is that you assumed that it worked with bluetooth, but their wireless SpaceMouse requires a dongle? I think there is one product that uses the Mac's bluetooth, but the others don't...

I can't figure out how to edit my previous post. I see you got the CADMouse. I do not have experience with that one but my SpaceMouse does require a dongle.

Probably a Solution
I think, the normal way of using is with an adapter from this USB A to USB C. This could be the Problem. After several annoing tries i figured out, that the adapter probably causes the problem. Finally i used an USB Cable which fits on my M1 Macbook and the 3D Mouse. From that time it works perfectly. There are also some Questions to the manufacter. This Euipment is quite expensive and its 2024, why do you only supply this old fashioned USB A which can use ony a very small number of users. The majority have no USB A Slot on their computers. And what is about this obscure plugin sender which do not work at all? Come on, you are german, and they claimed to be perfect!
