Antitrust problem with 3Dconnexion US Minimum Advertised Price Policy

Post by luping »

The 3Dconnexion US Minimum Advertised Price Policy(MAPP) is a price fixing, anti-competitive practice, and may breached the Antitrust Law by setting a minimum resale price, the MAPP action deprived downstream resellers of their pricing autonomy, excluded and restricted competition within the 3Dconnexion brand, stifled and damaged competition in the niche market of computer 3D navigation device supply where 3Dconnexion is the sole owner of several key 3D navigation computer input device patents listed on the United States Patent and Trademark Office website, and the only supplier in this 3D navigation device market.
