Spaceball 5000 USB 'jumps' sporadically - SW2007 64

Post by Simon205 »

My spaceball seems to work fine most of the time, movement is smooth etc, though every 30 secs or so the screen will shift by a few degrees, almost as if you've knocked the unit accidentally or something.

I've tried playing around with the sensitivity & updated to latest driver but nothing seems to've worked.

Any help appreciated.

Simon,

Open the 3dcontrol panel.
Click on Help, about
What is the firmware of your Spaceball 5000?
Does it say 3.2?

If so please call the helpdesk.
We have a firmware update that should take care of that issue.

Thanks for the reply; yes the firmware is at version 3.2. I've called the helpdesk but they haven't sent me anything yet. Is there anywhere else I can obtain the firmware?

Regards,

Simon
