Trying to install my wireless space mouse using 10.1.4.
Win7 and I'm logged in as the admin. Fresh first time install as well.
I get 3DxWincore (x64) installation failed. Error: 1603.
Searched the forums. Tried to call support only to get disconnected every time. Tried to fill out a support case on the web site from two different browsers but it won't take it.
Tried to run the install in compatibility mode as well.
Any ideas?

Hello AdamWright,
I apologize that you had trouble to connect our Technical Support team. I will contact you directly to get some more information from you.
This is a Windows error rather than something specific to 3Dconnexion software. Microsoft has both manual and automated steps to correct this in their Fix It link.
You will find more information about the 1603 error here.
Once you have resolved the problem with the Windows Installer Service, you should be able to run the 3DxSoftware installation without a problem. Let us know if you were successful.

Re: Wireless Space Mouse won't install
Already tried that before I posted. I read through the forum and saw that answer. That doesn't make any difference after I run the "Fixit". Any other suggestions?

Then let's check the log files of the installer. You find the instruction about how to create the log files from the installation here. Once you have these files please send them to me (I'll send you the email address shortly).

Re: Wireless Space Mouse won't install
I sent you the log files last week. See anything that would get us going?
Re: Wireless Space Mouse won't install
Greetings,
I have exactly the same issue.
I have cloned my SSD drive, uninstalled 3Dconnexion software via Revo Uninstall and cannot install at present the software (Wireless 3D Mouse).
I Have uninstalled all 3DConnexion remains, all in vain. The suggested Windows utilities does not help neither.
Please assist, I desperately need the solution to the problem.
Many thanks in advance

Hello Gth,
uninstalling with 3rd party tools is not a recommended way. This can leave rememnats from an installation that prevent a new installation.
Please contact our Technical Support Team. They will need a log file of the installation to be able to analyse the situation.

Re: Wireless Space Mouse won't install
Hullo,
Fortunately I have managed to fix the issue by restoring the system from Image Backup and updating the software without the problem.
Forcefully the problem should have been caused by inappropriate uninstallation in my case.
I do thank you for your prompt response.
My best regards
