New Navigator PE doesnt work

Hi,
i connected my new space navigator to the pc, download and install the software.
but nothing happens... When i "Start Driver" i can see the 3DxSrv.exe for only 1second in the taskmanager. the same on "Show Control Panel".
the Cube3d Demo says "Can'T find a 3d motion controller" . the other demos doesn't start.

i disconnected all other usb devices and try out all ports (usb2.0)..

What is "Beliebiges Gerät"?

its german for "any device" or "general device" "unspecified device" .. dont know whats in english windows

Hi Hans,
It seems that your device is not being recognised by the system. Are you using a USB hub? Is the device connect directly to the machine?

no hub. directly to the usb on board. all other device works with it (sanner, ubs stick, iPod..)

Hi Hans

To be sure if your device isn't defective please test it on another computer without other USB devices connected to it. You have to install 3DxSoftware and to connect the device. Afterwards try to use one of the supplied demos (Start -> All Programs -> 3Dconnexion -> 3Dconnexion 3DxWare -> Demos).

If it works, please try to connect your device via an USB hub with own power supply to the computer you normally use. You have already some devices (as you described) connected and it could be that the USB power reached the limit and that's why you device doesn't work.

its the same on my other (old) computer.
i tried it with no other usb device connected..
