Hi all,

I apologize if the new driver release disappoints you. We are tracking the issue described here internally as bug #6737 ("Model moves in wrong direction when axis reversed").

We need a certification for the fix for bug #6737 and rely on external resources with that. We are working on this but if we would have waited for this the release would have to be postponed for an indefinite time. I will update you as soon as we have the fix released.

I signed up just to let you know that i was reading this thred thinking this bug makes new 3d connexion users loose confidence in the product,

I used the product at another company and it worked great!

I thought i was Crazy when i switched to creo...

I tryed to use it all day last week and almost returned the product.

ill be trying the down grade now.

Please update me when the new software is available. (I like the new software interface)

Cheers

Hello mgn,

please note that the issue is not related to the application that you are using with it, but to the fact that you changed the "Zoom Direction" In the "Advanced Settings".

UtaSH I just want to comment that the way you said that makes it seem like it's the users fault for changing a setting. This is because of a lack of quality testing before releasing a new version and allowing an easily noticed bug through to release.

ok, please correct the issue on version 10.1

The earlier versions are now crashing my Creo
both version 3.16 and others

Can you estimate when you will have updated the reverse direction glitch?

Sadly they already said it'd be fixed in the recent update, but they failed to get the fix in that update and I doubt they'll give much of an eta.

damn, well meanwhile my fix is

1 Open creo
2 install 3d connexion 3.18 software
3 CAD, enjoying this Sweet device (and hoping for no crashes)
4 finish the day by uninstalling 3.18

If i open Creo before i install the program it works. If i install the program and then open Creo will not open

This problem doesnt happen with V10.1

I really look forward to this update

Hello mgn,

which version of Creo 3 do you have? There is a known issue with early versions of Creo 3.0 64bit. PTC fixed this in M010.

What kind of error do you get if you first install and start the driver and then start Creo?

The fix to the OP problem (small movement in the opposite direction) has been [finally] released in 3DxWare 10.2.1.

Its not correct yet.

It seems all the navigation sensors dont work simulations. the all in-gauge independently

v16 and v18 are fine... the new v10.2 is not
