Space Navigator & Google Chrome

Post by ddschneider1972 »

I just purchased this last week. It works fine in SketchUp, AutoCad, Photoshop...but when I go to Chrome the only things that work are the buttons.

Which driver did you install?
What OS are you using?
Driver 10.0.22 is the latest for Windows. earlier drivers did not include any functionality for Google Chrome
This allows for Scrolling up and down

Is your Chrome up to date or are you using an older version?
If not current update the Browser.
If you had previously used our Beta driver I would suggest a clean install of the driver.

Try the below steps:
Open our 3Dcontrol properties window.
Make sure it is showing Chrome.
Click the advanced settings
Is Pan\Zoom checked? if not check it and click close and retry scrolling up and down.
If this doesn't work reopen the control panel
Open advanced
Click on restore defaults at the bottom then choose close and see if you can scroll up and down.

Hey Fred,

Thanks for the reply. Chrome is up to date. I installed the drivers fresh from the site (I generally don't do beta). When in Chrome and I ask for the properties of the navigator it does show Chrome is active and all the settings are right. Restoring defaults gets it to work for 5 secs and it's terribly laggy (useless).

Oooo my bad... I tried moving the navigator around in all ways, and now I realise that to scroll you tilt it back and forth.
