Cinema 4D - panning in orthogonal Views?

Post by Honkponk »

Using v9.5 in the Office, anyone how had the same crappy experiences in panning with SN in orthogonal views??? You have all but no control. It`s like working totally drunk.
Anyway, is there anyone out there to help me with some cool tip???
Hidiho everyone!

i`ve found out, that similar to orientating in the perspective view (that i got used to within the last hours) panning in orthogonal views is extremly sensitive (you have only to tip slightly) and you have to tip very accurately right in the four directions. Otherwise you loose whole control very easy (drifting in unmeant directions).
Zooming isn't supported anyway, can someone explain why.
(at this time as alternative i use the middle-scrolling-wheel of my mouse.
Hidiho everyone!

hi Honkponk,

The support for 3Dconnexion devices in CINEMA 4D is native to the application. In other words, it is MAXON that develops the solution that integrates our devices in CINEMA 4D.
When this is the case, we advise our customers to contact the application editor Customer Service directly.
We very much appreciate if you could post here the information you received from MAXON regarding this matter.
We will bring this to their attention but customer requests all carry a lot of weight.
