The 3.17.8 driver does not include the add-ins for AutoCAD, Max or Maya 2015. It is a workaround driver until the issue has been resolved with Inventor.

if you encounter the problem from the post that I have linked to then this is our internal bug number #6629 ("Navigation in Inventor is blocked if two files open and the graphic window doesn't have the focus").

Do you have 3DxWare 10.0.22 installed?

Can you confirm that the navigation is enabled again if you click with the standard mouse in the graphical window?

If this is the case then the action is on 3Dconnexion's side. We will have a fix for this problem in our next release. In the meantime you could install 3DxSoftware 3.17.8 (the driver for the SpaceMouse Pro) which supports the SpaceNavigator, too, but does not provide the Radial Menus.
Yes, navigation is enabled again if you click with the standard mouse in the graphical window with 10.0.22.

I uninstalled 10.0.22 and installed 3.17.8 and Inventor seems to be glitch free at the moment although there is still a pause sometimes with constraints and measure but usable. As mentioned before, it doesn't include the AutoCAD add-ins and is now hit and miss when panning with the Spacemouse. (I assume that is what the add-ins are for?)

I believe Inventor is fixed in 3DxWare 10.1, which was released at the end of last week.

The latest 3DxWare driver 10.1.0 consistently crashes Inventor 2013 when we try to "Edit Definition" of a symbol (Annotate > User > Symbol > Edit Definition). As a workaround, we uninstalled 10.1.0 and installed an older version - 3.17.6. This older driver when paired with Inventor 2013 does not crash "Edit Definition," and we've found that Inventor 2013 performance is much smoother.

Software Specs
Inventor Professional 2013 SP2 Update 4
3DxSoftware 3.17.6

Computer Specs
Windows 7 x64
Intel Xeon X3440 2.53GHz
16GB Memory
nVidia Quadro 600
RAID 0: SanDisk Ultra Plus SSD
