SW mapping key "C"

Post by Dick59 »

SWX7, 3DxWare version 6.0.18, Firmware 2.23, Spaceball 5000 USB, XPSP2, Quadro FX 1100.

Hi, I am having trouble mapping key "C" to a feature. As you can see the tab for "C" is partly under the picture of the device. The tab accepts my setting, but does not save the setting. Works fine for key "B" or others!

Hi Dick59,

This issue will be fixed in the upcoming 3.1 release (from version 3.1.4 and up).

Could you please check the "Button Configuration" tab on the driver (3DxWare) panel and check if button "C" is enabled (and not assigned to "--").

I have exactly the same problem.
And i already have installed the new driver with uninstalling the old one fist.
So it's not solved in the 3.1 release.

SWX7, Release version 3.1.8, 3DxWare version 6.1.7, Firmware 2.22, Spaceball 5000 USB, XPSP2.

Button C is enabled in the button configuration tab.

Hi Prospective Groove
The fix is in add-in version 2.10.0.
Unfortunately, due to an unrelated problem it was not included in release 3.1. It is now scheduled for the next release (tentatively set as version "3.2").
We know this for a couple of weeks. I'm sorry for not posting that in here.
