SpacePilot Pro update borked the install

Post by behnt »

Hello,

Things were not working quite right and I updated the software to 10.6.0 as the last driver that worked. Now all I get is this error

---------------------------
3DxSmartUI
---------------------------
Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

1)I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, did not work

2)Tried this full clean up and install https://www.3dconnexion.com/nc/service/ ... ndows.html , this did not work

3) Tried software from the previous two releases and went through #1 and #2 again and this did not work...

Whats my next steps? I am crippled with out this device

Hello behnt,

I suggest you try the current driver - 3DxWare 10.6.8. It will show the SpacePilot Pro as a Discontinued Device, but you still have Extended Support which means 3Dconnexion maintains core functionality for the product. See here.

If you then still see the problem you can contact our Technical Support Team. The will ask you for a diagnosis file and this might help us to identify the problem.
