Universal Receiver (3DX-700069) together with Pro Wireless (3DX-600047)?

Post by frenzy81 »

Hi everyone

I tried searching for this but couldn't find anything related.

I recently got a SpaceMouse Pro Wireless with the PN 3DX-600047, but unfortunately it came without a USB receiver so I can only use it with the cable. I already had a SpaceMouse Wireless (3DX-600044) and was hoping the receiver would be able to connect to both, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I see there is a SpaceMouse Pro Wireless Receiver existing in addition to the SpaceMouse Wireless Receiver I have.

My question is, if I purchase the Universal Receiver (3DX-700069) will I be able to pair and run the Pro Wireless (600047) I have?

Thanks!

Hi frenzy81,

yes, you can pair the SpaceMouse Pro Wireless with the Universal Receiver. You can pair up to 5 3Dconnexion devices with one Universal Receiver. And you can pair all of our wireless models with the UR. :)

Thanks, I'll buy one locally then!

I was just a bit worried, in one of the eBay ads I checked out it said the Universal Receiver could be used for any 3DX-7000 products, and both my products are in the 6000 range.

Hi frenzy81,

the 6000 numbers are from the box (product including accessories) and the 7000 numbers are the numbers on the product itself. Check it out. ;)

You mentioned you want to buy the Universal Receiver locally. Just make sure it is the one from 3Dconnexion, not from another brand (e.g. Logitech); this won't work. :P
