mouse pointer(cursor) freezing

Post by Yeongseok Jang »

<r>I am having the following problem. (My device is enterprise model)

The mouse pointer stops even when using a USB hub, and the mouse pointer stops after a while even when directly connected to the motherboard.
This freeze disappears when the 3D mouse is removed.
Mouse pointer freezes usually occur one hour after connecting a 3D mouse.
As time goes by, the time to stop becomes more frequent and longer.

This phenomenon has occurred since the date of purchase and installation.(Purchase date : 30/8/2019)
Hello Yeongseok Jang,

in the second video it looks like you have a drifting with the device. Did you try to calibrate it? You can easily calibrate it by right-clicking to the 3Dconnexion icon in the system tray and the selecting “Calibrate”. You will be asked “not to touch the cap while LEDs are blinking”. Confirm and wait until the process is finished (just a few seconds). Another window will inform you that the calibration is finished.

If this doesn't solve your problem please provide the following information:
 • Which driver version is installed on your machine?
 • Which version of Windows are you using?
 • Which CAD application are you using?
 • Is the mouse cursor freezing or does the navigation with the 3D mouse stop?
Do you havethe possibility to test the device with another machine?
Or perhaps one of your colleagues is using as well a 3Dconnexion 3D mouse and you can test the other device on your machine?

Please let us know what you find out.
