Hi,
I am currently looking at purchasing a spacemouse, but my decision as to which one I will buy almost solely depends on whether I am able to lock the screen to a particular plane with the Spacemouse Compact.
I know the spacemouse Pro has a little button on the right hand side of the joystick, which is of tremendous use to me when sketching / designing a part in section on CAD programs. However I am not sure if you are able to use this functionality on the spacemouse compact.
Does the compact also have this feature?
Thanks

The SpaceMouse Compact only has two buttons. You can assign the same RotationLock function to one of those buttons.
By default we have those two buttons to bring up Radial Menus. You can put the RotationLock function in those radial menus (4 or 8 slices). Or you can use one button for the single RotationLock function and continue to use a Radial Menu on the other button.
