the error from the 3DxWare.log shows that you have the same problem as another user in the forum. In his case it was the BitDefender Antivirus software that blocked the driver. See
here for his post.

Made an exclusion path in BitDefender 2010 for the whole of the 3Dconnexions folder on 22 October but this did not work. Have, yet again, tried an unistall and install but to no avail. Log File follows:
