Creo 3.0 spin center wonkyness after Windows 10 update

In the days since we installed the 2019-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4493509), my co-workers and I have found this aggravating change to the behavior of the spin center in PTC Creo 3.0:

The spin center is pinned to the model center, and to change it, one must dig 6 or 7 clicks down into the Reorient menus to move the spin center to the useful location of your choice. This used to be accomplished by one right-click of the middle button in the desired location.

Have others found this problem, too? Has anyone found a solution? TIA.
